Liverpool v. Bolton. Alright. As I’m starting this it’s nearly 2am here on the east side of America so I’m going to reel off a few hundred words before bed. Sorry for the brevity compared to my usual output, but kickoff is eight hours away and this writer needs some sleep. But I do want to get my pre-match thoughts in.
Mostly I want to talk about Dirk Kuyt. I’ve written about him before. I’ve put forth my praise and my belief in him. But last time out I think I was a little hard on the man if only through my undertones. I basically said with Yossi, Steven and Fernando out, I didn’t know where the goals would come from. I said Dirk looked tired. I said he needed more service to get something going. I showed skepticism. I was out of line.

This document has been created to explain and update for you the Boycott of Steven Cohen as heard on the SiriusXM satellite radio show World Soccer Daily.
Many Liverpool supporters have taken offense to Steven Cohen's claims over the first half of 2009 whereby he accuses Liverpool supporters of having “shared responsibility” in the Deaths of the 96 at Hillsborough on April 15th, 1989.
He has made repeated claims on air that his “opinion” will not change and he is free to express that opinion. We have challenged him to show authoritative evidence to back up his “opinion”. He refused in spite of the overwhelming response from Liverpool supporters, and others, who gave him factual proof his “opinion” is wrong. So we took the extraordinary step to boycott his show.
This has led to over half of his original sponsors to leave. It has also led to Fox Soccer Channel to not renew his contract as co-host of Fox Football Fone-in for 2009-2010. Liverpool FC have condemned him. Chelsea FC have distanced themselves from him.
We would like your continued support in this boycott campaign.

Welcome to the new LFC Boston web site! We've put a lot of work into it, and we hope we enjoy it.
If you have a minute, please go to the Forum and the Gallery and look around: we've moved the web site to a new server, and need to make sure everything came across OK. (We still have the old files, so don't worry if something important is missing. Just let us know!)
The main improvement in the new site will be the ability to easily add new content: newsletters, articles, songs, etc. If you think you have something to contribute, talk to one of the administrators and they'll give you "Author" status, which will allow you to add to the site! |

A transfer rumored to be in works for some eight months finally materialized into reality this summer. Last January, Liverpool reportedly bid £9M Glen Johnson only for Johnson to sign a new 4-year deal with Pompey. The rumors did not go away, and, in April, there was a strong belief that Liverpool were going to launch a sizeable bid to get their man.
Liverpool beat off Chelsea and Man City to sign Johnson on June 26 for a reported fee of £17.5m. Liverpool’s new full-back, according to many of the first team regulars and past player alike, is seemingly the ‘missing link’ to bring the title back to Anfield.
