Gotta have Aquilani back for this one I think. Riera too. Although the old saying comes to mind about not breaking up a winning team.... etc...

Too bad we will be missing the Greek for this one. I think he's really started to prove himself. Let's hope Arsenal's confidence is still on the rocks and they are worn out from playing Chelsea. I won't be able to watch, but am hoping my LFCTV feed will give me the audio so I can follow closely. I know we can do it!

well its been a while for me...
I hope the greek absense wont be too big a factor, he has however been the better player on the pitch for some of the past games, I was really singing his praises on saturday maybe exagerating due to being so worked up after the red card, but at 2million he is turning out to be quite the signing. Ever since he scored that goal things have been great.
IMO Insua is due for a rest but that can wait til after wednesday
The midfield was solid at the weekend but I wouldnt mind to see Aquilani in the starting XI
Hopefully Kuyt can keep this scoring stretch going...

Another foot of snow in the Philaelphia area tomorrow gives me a wonderful opportunity to call out of work and somehow manage to get to a Setanta bar. Is this storm coming al the way up to Boston as well?
Anyways, I agree that Insua could probably use a rest...but at what expense? Is Aurelio fit to play yet? It pains me to say it but Maxi somehow remained anonymous throughout the entire derby on Saturday, Aquilani should come in for him.
Aaaand I'd like to see Babel in for N'Gog. I could see him being really effective against Arsenal.

Yeah Lucas has a lot of fans these days, they where singing his name throughout the derby game. You'll probably be waiting a long time to see him score though, that's not his role within the team.
If we can beat Arsenal then we are in a really good place looking towards the critical part of the season. We need two holding midfielders against a team like Arsenal anyway in my opinion so the loss of Aquilani isn't a big one. It'll be a big ask marking both Fabregas and Arshavin out of the game and I'm not feeling too good about missing the big Greek.

should be quite the game tomorrrow, hope i make it to the landing to see it
a win at the emirates, eastlands, and against unirea in the europa league could be a significant catalyst in making a cup/3rd place run. arsenal wont win games til v.persie returns seeing as arshavin can't do shite (i kinda like the kid but he's ziggin when he should be zaggin lately) and torres returns soon so i'm thinking 3rd place now, not 4th.
for tmr, i think it should be: Reina, Carra, Skertl, Agger, Aurelio, Kuyt, Aquaman, Mashedpotatoes, Riera, Gerrard, NoGo. lol. i'm sorry to say it but we do need his height out there seeing as we're playing a midget team. maybe babel instead of riera?
i personally thought he worked hard saturday so he should get in. the big matchups are definitely carra/arsahvin, gerrard/diaby, masch/fabregas. you take out arshavin, there's no through balls to worry about. pin down fab, you can press foward. beat diaby one v one, you get to attack a shaky arsenal backline. and that's your victory right there. bring on the next victim.

i think we should keep the same line up as everton.skrtel in for krygiakos.maybe riera for maxi i'd be o.k with either starting.i dunno if we can win this one.
so how many goals has masch scored this season or riera? i don't think we are getting enough goals from anyone bar torres so don't bash lucas alone with this stick.
