Dear All,

First of all, my sincere apologies for all the problems that people are currently encountering on the website. We haven't changed anything on the back-end, so it's somewhat of a mystery as to why everything's suddenly gone to hell.

In the meantime, we are trying to gather as much information about what's happening as possible, so if you could email webmaster@lfcboston.com with the following information we'd be very grateful:
- A list of your cookies associated with lfcboston.com and sub-domains (this is a different process for every browser) -- ideally both before and after the problem, although we realize it's difficult to predict when you're going have issues. In Firefox (at least, Firefox on my Mac), the cookies list can be found under Preferences > Privacy > then click on the "remove individual cookies" link. I appear to either have 2 or 3 cookies at any one time.
- How do you get to the website? Do you manually type into the address bar or is the site bookmarked? What exact URL do you use?
- What web browser and OS are you using? (e.g. "Firefox 3.5.7 using Mac OSX version 10.5.8")

As a temporary fix, if you try deleting those cookies (or all of your cookies) then this may fix the problem. We're working on trying to discover what's going on,

If anyone having the problem is available for debugging tomorrow (who we can call on the phone), please also email me. We're having trouble replicating the problem on our machines so it would be helpful if we could have someone walk us through what they are doing.

Thanks,
Miranda (LFC Boston Webmaster)

this is just a minor thing, not sure if anyone else has noticed...the time on the site is one hour ahead i.e. if I post something at 1am it says it was posted at 2am
just thought it was a bit odd

Anyone with forum problems: temporary fix seems to be to go to lfcboston.com instead of www.lfcboston.com. Still working on reproducing things -- thank you all for your help so far!!

I do that Miranda, but it still seems to happen.

Yes, there is (I hope!).

I got back home (finally) and spent some time on it this morning.  It should be fixed (I think!).  If you're still having trouble, try following this link

http://lfcboston.com/fix_login.php

It will delete all the lfcboston.com cookies that may be crufty leftovers.  If that doesn't help you, please email me or Miranda.

Great -- I can take tonight off before I head back to the daily grind tommorow then!

BTW; did you have to follow the link I posted, or did it "just work"?
